Major Fundraisers
Annual "A Visit to Santa's House" - Historic Burr Homestead is transformed into Santa's own house each year during the holidays, allowing young guests the opportunity to meet Santa, share a cookie with Mrs. Claus, sing holiday carols and more! Proceeds from this event go to our charitable partner which we select as a club each year.
Touch-a-Truck - A hands-on activity for kids and parents (all ages) to experience their favorite trucks by climbing into the driver's seat, honking the horn and pretending to steer! Proceeds from this fundraiser benefit the club's high school scholarship program.

Community Service Events
Town Spelling Bee - Classroom winners from Fairfield's 5th grades compete in an annual town Spelling Bee. The top 2 finishers participate in a Connecticut State Spelling Bee.
Grants & Scholarships
CARE Partnership - Each year, the JWC chooses a local non-profit organization as a partner to receive the proceeds from our largest fundraiser - "A Visit to Santa's House" - and to coordinate non-monetary activities throughout the year that directly benefit the charity's clients.
Scholarship Program - The JWC has awarded over $75,000 in scholarships since 1992. To qualify, high school students must have a GPA of 3.6 or higher, demonstrate a financial need and a record of community service.
