CARE
Congratulations to Brady's Smile, which has been chosen as the JWC’
s new charitable partner! This awe-inspiring organization will be
receiving proceeds from our 2009 Santa's House fundraiser!

Brady's Smile was founded a year ago by Matt and Annie Hinton,
whose son, Brady, endured numerous surgeries and stays in the
NICU before passing away on his second birthday. The Hintons
founded Brady's Smile to honor his memory and to make life easier
in the newborn and pediatric intensive care units for patients and
their families. They currently have programs at Yale New Haven, as
well as at two hospitals in Pennsylvania, and one in Virginia.

The JWC will be partnering with Brady’s Smile to bring the program
to Bridgeport Hospital for the first time. The club hopes, that with
a $10,000 grant, we will be able to provide 50 comfort bags and 10
large fleece blankets per month to the hospital’s NICU and PICU, as
well as furnish the entire NICU, PICU and pediatric floor with crib-
side CD players. All donated items will carry a tag indicating that
they were made possible through a generous donation and
partnership with the JWC Fairfield. To learn more about this
amazing organization, visit

What is CARE?
The CARE Committee
(Consideration and
Respect for Everyone)
accepts and reviews
applications from local
non-profits hoping to
receive proceeds from
the club's biggest
fundraiser, "A Visit to
Santa's House." Once a
nonprofit is chosen, the
committee coordinates
activities throughout the
year with the chosen
charitable partner.
