| Spelling Bee |
Each year, the Fairfield JWC organizes a town-wide Spelling Bee consisting of classroom winners from Fairifeld's fifth grades. First and second place winners participate in a state-wide Connecticut Spelling Bee. Thank you to all those who helped to make the 29th Annual Spelling Bee held on February 25th "letter perfect"! While all of the Bee participants were winners in our eyes, we congratulate the following students on their exceptional performance: 2010 Spelling Bee First place: Patrick Salts, Riverfield School Second Place: Geoffrey Gaugler, Burr School Third Place: Ryan Cimmino, St. Thomas Aquinas School Patrick and Geoffrey will represent Fairfield at the CJW State Spelling Bee in Portland, CT on May 15th.
