Junior Women's Club of Fairfield Presents $17,000 Check to The Thomas Merton Family Center
On February 16, The Junior Women’s Club of Fairfield presented a check for $17,000 to its charitable partner, The Thomas Merton Family Center, at its general meeting at the Burr Homestead. The Center received proceeds from the 2011 “A Visit To Santa’s House” event hosted by the JWC last December at the Burr Homestead. Read More

Touch-a-Truck Rumbles Into Fairfield, August 15, 2011
"Grab your hard hats! Touch-a-Truck is back in town - and the "jobsite" includes everything from backhoe to a Coast Guard boat to a stretch limousine. Kids of all ages can get their kicks at this family friendly event, climbing aboard a bulldozer, peering inside a police cruiser or pulling the siren of a fire truck!  Touch-a-Truck, which drew nearly 2,000 visitors last year, will be held Sunday, September 18 from noon to 4pm in the parking lot of Fairfield Ludlowe High School......"
